About Jackie

Jackie Moore, LPN

Jackie Moore is from New Jersey and relocated to North Carolina in 2013. I am a Anat Baniel Method® Neuromovement® practitioner and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Jackie graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute in New Jersey in 2010 with my LPN starting my journey of finding joy in caring for people. In 2020, and began her journey into Neuromovement and became certified to work with adults and children. She was introduced to ABM through seeing and caring for my niece who has cerebral palsy.

This method has been so important for her and has helped her with hip development, functional growth(her turned in feet straightened), lung function, sleeping better and awareness to herself to learn how to move independently in spite of her limitations. It was so clear from her first intensive that this was going to become a vital part of her journey.

She has bloomed in so many ways and is doing beyond what we ever thought was going to be possible for her. This method gave us so much hope for her life. ABM begins with gentle touch and movements, and supports improved movement, learning, behavior and quality of life for individuals and families. I am located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Anat Baniel Method®

About the Approach

The Anat Baniel Method® (ABM) is a neuroscience based approach that utilizes movement, awareness, and sensory integration to help individuals of all ages improve their physical and cognitive function. ABM is based on the understanding that the brain has the ability to reorganize and create new neural pathways throughout life. By engaging in gentle, mindful movements, ABM stimulates the brain to rewire itself, to discover improvement in the ways we think, move and perform which positively impacts our physical and cognitive health.

Through individualized lessons the Anat Baniel Method® encourages the body to move in new and varied ways, promoting greater flexibility, balance, and coordination among a wide variety of other functions and abilities. Through using the brains ability to change and upgrade, movements challenge the nervous system in a way that fosters growth and healing. Children often experience improvements and positive changes in thinking, functional mobility and creativity all while improving their capacity for learning and developing new pathways to discovering skills.

ABM focuses on the brain’s inherent ability to learn and adapt. By teaching clients to become more aware of their movements and body sensations, the Anat Baniel Method® empowers individuals to unlock their full potential, by upgrading the brain and providing it with information and conditions to grow, develop and thrive. This is achieved whether recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or simply enhancing overall well-being. This gentle touch based personalized approach is suitable for people of all ages and abilities, offering a transformative way to reconnect with the body and mind, providing continual positive changes that impact every aspect of function and quality of life.
